- C.A.P. Head Start can accommodate up to
62 children. All-day Kindergarten runs from
9:00 - 4:00 Monday to Thursday. The
Head Start program, for young children aged
3.5 to 4.5, have morning and afternoon
classes.
- During the 2006-2007 fiscal year
our families spoke a total of 16 different
languages and represented 19 cultures.
- At
the end of the school year, every child has
shown positive achievements according to
Creative Curriculum measurement charts and
the Kindergarten or Grade One Readiness
Skills Inventory.
- Overall, parents are pleased with the
program and would recommend it to others.
- Our team of professionals who provide services to our students includes:
- a CASA (Child and Adolescent Services Association) Mental Health Worker;
- a Speech Therapist;
- an Occupational Therapist;
- a
Dental Hygienist; and
- a Community Health Nurse.
