The Franciscan Sisters Benevolent Society programming
is designed to meet the needs of individuals in a wholistic manner.
Your donation to the Franciscan Sisters Benevolent Society is an investment
in your community.
Tax receipts are promptly issued upon receipt of a cash donation or in-kind donation and corresponding invoice or purchase receipt.
There are many ways you can give to the Franciscan
Sisters Benevolent Society:
- cash donations may be made with cash, cheques, Mastercard, Visa and American Express;
- donations designated "where needed most" will be used for either program
depending on the most current financial requirements;
- donations can be designated
for use by Franciscan Centre;
- donations can be designated for specific uses;
- other in-kind donations. Please contact us before bringing items in as we have very limited storage space;
- auction items for specific events.
**Please note that we no longer accept used clothing and household items**
Donor Recognition
Recognition of our donors is flexible, varied, and depends on the type, amount and designation of the gift. Most often we recognize our donors in the following ways:
- letter of acknowledgment of gift with tax receipt as required
- name and
sometimes write-up in the Franciscan Sisters Benevolent Society newsletter, News Notes
