Volunteers enhance the ability
of the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement to offer
a variety of programs which would not otherwise be possible. All volunteers
are welcomed to the programs and we have a need to fill skilled and non-skilled
positions with those people who possess the desire to make some sort
of difference in the lives of others. We also work together with educational
institutions to place field and practicum students within the organization.
Whether a volunteer comes to us with short term or long term commitments,
Franciscan Sisters Benevolent Society seek individuals who are willing
to provide a little to help those who are in need of our services.
Volunteers are vitally important.
Volunteers are required to be non-judgmental,
compassionate, flexible and
serious about their commitment. We provide
volunteers with:
- Orientation
- Training
- Support
- Recognition
